You'll excuse me if my humour isn't exactly razor-keen today. I have friends in New York, and in the Pentagon too, believe it or not. Happily, it doesn't look as though I've lost any of them - but there are too many others who can't say the same. So yeah: here's some humour about taxation.

This site is amazing. It is the US government's offical tax office (they call it the IRS) site - and there appears to be an attempt at humor in its construction. This is an object and brutal lesson as to the essential differences between comedians and tax agents, I believe. Note to the IRS: Jay Leno isn't out trying to squeeze money out of people. So why are you wasting your time trying to make them laugh?
