Euthanasia

May 2002 - EuthanasiaConfronting one's death may be the hardest thing a person can do, but the high-profile cases of Britton Dianne Pretty and Queenslander Nancy Crick have once again raised the issue of whether a person should be allowed to choose to have someone help them end their life. Following the Federal government's decision to overturn the Northern Territory's Voluntary Euthanasia Bill, the issue is being raised again, with a bill currently before the NS Parliament. This month, On Line Opinion sought the views of some prominent thinkers on the subject.
