Trevor Cook
Trevor is currently a Phd student in politics at the University of Sydney, a part-time tutor, occasional PR consultant and writer.
Before returning to University, Trevor was a consultant and partner at Jackson Wells Morris, a Sydney issues management and government relations firm, for 12 years.
Between 1987 and 1991, he was variously policy adviser, media adviser and chief of staff in the office of then education minister John Dawkins. Trevor was a Commonwealth public servant for eight years and also worked as a researcher for two years with the Japanese Ministry of International Trade and Industry.
Trevor grew up in the Sydney suburb of Riverwood, went to Peakhurst High School and is a long-time season ticket holder at Kogarah Jubliee Oval. He started blogging in November 2003 and lives on Sydney's northern beaches.
Trevor has an honours degree in economics from the University of Sydney.
