Des Griffin
Before his appointment as Director of the Australian Museum, Sydney, Des Griifin was a Senior Research Scientist at the Museum conducting research on marine science, particularly the biology of Crustacea. He has published on management, leadership and policy in museums and on the return of cultural property. He was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) in 1990 in recognition of his services to museums.
