Armed forces in the Solomons without social justice could make things worse

Fourth, there is a need for infrastructure, built primarily by Solomon Islanders.

To attempt to sort out the finances of the country while leaving the Weather Coast of Guadalcanal without a road to market the produce of the people will repeat the "Honiara syndrome", which saw development and infrastructure concentrate largely in the capital.

It does not matter how slick Honiara is, if the 80 per cent of the population in the rural areas is not given opportunities to sell its resources, the ingredients of our unrest remain.

There are four pillars of peace: they are truth, justice, love and freedom. If the intervention takes place these four pillars must be part of all their actions.
