The various words, phrases and terms that inspired the Twitterverse and created layers of discourse beyond policy made it one of the more remarkable campaigns in Australian media history.

Equally, we know David Marr and Annabel Crabb hate the Liberal National Coalition and write accordingly.

The fact we had a real binary split in the campaign, with the media no longer pretending to be objective nor invoking global niceties in reporting, was really good news for media consumers.
