*The Australian Early Warning Network was first started in 1995 and is dedicated to the provision of a multi-channel alert system that leads the world in capability but is provided free to those that need it - the public and emergency responders. EWN is a communication system that allows emergency services to quickly contact members of a community or organisation with information. This system allows emergency services to inform the public of a known hazard. EWN is designed to provide map - or list-based communications with opt-in audiences. Geographic calling zones are created based on immediate circumstances (e.g. phone, SMS, email, fax, etc) ahead of time based on anticipated needs. EWN can also targets specific lists of people (e.g., first responders, Neighbourhood Watch, etc.). Please visit EWN at www.ewn.com.au or email kerry@ewn.com.au
