Climate change-an ultimate game-changer

By Mamtimin Ala - posted Wednesday, 4 September 2024

No one is better at this than John Kerry, who declared in Jakarta in 2014 that climate change is "perhaps the world's most fearsome weapon of mass destruction," a recycled term from President Bush's psychological warfare tactics to justify the US invasion of Iraq.

Furthermore, this approach has proven successful throughout history in religious and ideological persecutions. The beauty of it is that it makes people extremely passionate, self-driven, and even fanatic within a short time, effectively antagonising one group against any other group, which denies, suspects, delays, or acts against this plan.

The second phase is sustained ideological warfare. It is crucial to elevate NetZero from a vague scientific "fact" to an indisputable ideological "truth" at a level where no alternative or critical voices are allowed. Society is then forced to accept what is propagated not as a hypothesis but as scientific "truth."

However, claiming that climate change is a "science" while we must all "believe" in it is paradoxical, given that science must be a proven fact, not a belief. According to the Oxford Dictionary, "belief" means "accept that something is true, especially without proof."

In addition, the key to successfully gaining people's acceptance of this ideological "truth" is to make NetZero policies as absurd as possible. The more absurd they are, the more people feel intellectually paralysed and emotionally overwhelmed. Once this absurdity becomes the norm, people eventually give up, allowing themselves to be further gaslighted and manipulated.

The third phase is technological warfare. This movement must utilise all cutting-edge technologies to monitor, change, regulate, and, ultimately, control every human activity justified to achieve NetZero goals. These technologies will include, but are not limited to, facial recognition systems, carbon emission milestones for everybody monitored through digital ID, currency and social credit systems, calculations of travel mileages and taxation incentives, and reward/punishment mechanisms to a level where all factors are transparent, quantifiable, monetised, and manageable.

Once all these phases are successfully implemented and completed, we can see that NetZero changes not only economic but also social activities-the essential activities of human beings that we have taken for granted since antiquity through long evolutionary processes.

When governments oversee and regulate fundamental aspects of human activities, including dietary choices, consumption levels, behavioural norms, and travel distances, society transforms into a novel, unprecedented, irreversible, and highly structured self-regulating system, as seen in some authoritarian or totalitarian countries. When daily human activities are under government control, human feelings and thoughts are much easier to monitor, coordinate, and control.

All profound historical changes occur from within-from changing perceptions to changing behaviour. Society will be changed forever when behaviour is profoundly and permanently changed through epochal revolutions, from top to bottom, from inside out, and across generations, as an event that happens only in a millennium. Once these control mechanisms are in place, we live in a different world. However, is this the world we all want for our children?
