According to Reuters, Kansas attorney general said that other US states assisted Kansas prepare their investigation and are expected to file lawsuits soon. A group of lawyers in Malaysia are preparing a claim against the government, Pfizer, Moderna, and several public officers in a class action.
It is believed that the Kansas legal case against Pfizer will provide a precedent, either way it goes on other cases now and in the future that may be filed. These claims are the beginning of years of litigation that will put a close to the Covid-19 pandemic. These cases will also define the scope future authorities might have in laying down draconian regulations on their citizens in the future.
There is no doubt Pfizer will be defending this litigation to the hilt, so it may take a couple of years for any concluding results.
