Instead, Guterres and Wennesland kept repeating their mantra: there is only one solution to end the conflict – the vision contained in Resolution 2334.
They buried HKOPS by simply refusing to mention its existence as an alternative solution in their regular reports to the Security Council.
The massacre and hostage-taking perpetrated against Jews on October 7 ensures that HKOPS will never be implemented in its present format.

The UN should arrange for the civilian population of Gaza - a hell-hole since 1948 - to be compensated and resettled in Arab and other countries, to be followed by its razing and transformation into a national park, one eighth the size of Yosemite National Park.
No-one, Jew or Arab, should live there again. Enough Jewish and Arab blood has been spilt.
A monster was unleashed on Israel from Gaza on 7 October, but another monster, the UN, was unleashed on the Jewish people for the last 17 months, when the Security Council failed to consider HKOPS as an alternative solution to replace Resolution 2334.
The Security Council now needs to try and limit the fallout from the worst Jewish massacre since the Holocaust and concomitant threat to world peace by:
- Rescinding Security Council Resolution 2334
- Demanding Guterres and Wennesland resign.
- Adopting the only way now forward: Negotiations between Israel and Jordan to divide sovereignty in Judea and Samaria (West Bank) between their two respective States.
The United Nations owes the Jewish People.
