Democrats obsession with recession will cause increasing depression

By David Singer - posted Tuesday, 27 August 2019

Yeah, it's hard to beat an incumbent in a good economy. Every incumbent since FDR has won if they avoided a recession leading up to the election year and consumer confidence is sky high. Americans have disposable income. It's a bullish market.

Some economic downturns coming off a very high bar – far above what President Trump found in 2017 - could be a possibility. But a single shock to bring the whole system down? Voters will desert the Democrats in droves as Trump reminds them of this alarmist and outrageous prediction.

Maher and Warren's obsession with a non-happening recession guarantees their descent into an ever- increasing depression.

The three R's - "reading, writing and 'rithmetic" - seem set to be replaced by "Russia, racism and recession" - when Democrats seek reasons for their defeat in the 2020 elections.
