You could say;
WHAT! Is this thing called love? – What is this thing CALLED, love? – What is this THING called, love? - What is THIS thing called, love – What IS this thing called love?
All indicating that it's not only what you say that is important, but also the way that you say it.

Stress changes understanding, and very often we use grammatical devices such as commas, colons, semi-colons and question marks to support changes of presentation, or separation of thought.
So next time you hear someone making the common mistake of mixing letters with numbers, say to yourself "Oh oh – did they mean zero, or 0?"
So, try zeroing in on the wrong use of "O" when you really mean 0.
See, even a device such as a computer can recognise the difference; why not a more intelligent (?) human?
