How lucky we are

By John Richardson - posted Wednesday, 21 December 2011

My Christmas message to anyone who will listen is to count your blessings and thank your lucky stars for our wonderful country and the privileges we enjoy as an integral part of our way of life.

And, next time you think you might have something to complain about, remind yourself of the fact that there are millions out there who don't have a fraction of what you have and never will.

So, please don't whinge about your own problems and try doing something to help others with theirs … like me, you might just discover how lucky you really are.
