Prediction 12: A person of high rank shall receive a message from an anonymous source: “You are a good household manager, but not fit to meddle in the affairs of the Kingdom.”
Prediction 13: A man with a French family name shall become Supreme Head of the Kingdom’s first Anti-Carbon Church. Some will call it the Carbon Bank, but don’t bank on – or with - it.
Prediction 14: When Scorpius is low in the east, the Crown shall invade the lands, properties and dwellings of all the power lords, coal barons, cattlemen and tradesmen in the Kingdom, from Bowen to Latrobe, from Hunter to Hallelujah and from Gunnedah to Galilee. Their wealth shall be forcibly exchanged for carbon credits issued by the Crown, in whole or in part, as decreed by the Royal Court.

Prediction 15: Many working families and their cattle will be put to the sword. Even milk-maids, serving-maids, mid-wives, ladies-in-waiting and highwaymen will feel pain from the Carbon Tithe. Darkness and strife shall descend on the land. There will be a great uprising, greater than on the death of Phar Lap in a foreign land – not from a carbon (dioxide) overdose - but by arsenic poisoning.
Prediction 16: When Southern Cross is high in the south-west, the people will say: “The evidence is overwhelming. They cannot be trusted with so much as road-kill, let alone the welfare of the planet.”
Prediction 17: A great plague of silliness will spread throughout the land. For want of a collective wail, a kingdom will be lost.
