How much should we worry about inequality?
Inequality seems to be one of the vexed problems of modernity. Few would argue that perfect equality (whatever that might be) is either possible or desirable, but even less would argue that too much inequality is good, either. So the question, then, is about how much inequality is optimal. How much is too much, and how do we know?
