Jane Hocking
Professor Jane Hocking is an epidemiologist in the Centre for Epidemiology and Biostatistics, Melbourne School of Population and Global Health, University of Melbourne.
She is the Primary Chief Investigator for the SHAPE project. Her
research interests include the epidemiology and control of sexually
transmitted infections, with particular interest in genital chlamydia
infection. She holds an NHMRC Senior Research Fellowship. Jane’s
research has generated Australia’s first population-based chlamydia
prevalence and incidence estimates and has shaped chlamydia control
policy.
