Garry Mallard

Garry Mallard has been a conservationist-hiker-hunter since, well, before Adam played fullback for Jerusalem really. His ‘day job’ is that of a social justice advocate and housing and homelessness activist and for his sins he was awarded the Order of Australia Medal in the 2009 Queen’s Birthday Honours. Garry’s neck is not red, but his face does take on a bluish tinge when forced to swallow the non-sequitur slings and arrows of outrageous, irresponsible, closed-minded, and most often anonymous hard-line preservationists, gods bless their sustainable, non-genetically modified cotton socks.
