Michael James

Michael James is a British-born political scientist. From 1974 to 1988 he lectured in politics at La Trobe University. During 1988–93 he was Editorial Director of the Centre for Independent Studies and edited Policy magazine, and in 1994 he was appointed founding editor of Agenda, the policy journal of the ANU College of Business and Economics. From 1998 to 1999 he was President of the Australian Adam Smith Club. In 1999 he returned to live in the UK, where he is a freelance editor and writer.
