David Leigh
David Leigh is a writer and filmmaker. He trained at Edith Cowan University, Perth WA gaining a BA in writing and a Masters in Professional Communications. He subsequently trained at the WA Screen Academy.
He came to Tasmania in 2008 to make a documentary about the destruction of Tasmania's pristine rain forests and decided to stay and help in the fight to restore democracy on the island and save these beautiful forests from being turned into paper.
David's works include the film: A Worm in the Apple as well as the diary Climate Change Generation (about likely events brought about by climate change) and the novel Eucharist (about home-grown terrorism, based in Perth).
