Andrew Macintosh
Andrew Macintosh is a Research Fellow at The Australia Institute. He has a combined Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Law degree from the University of Sydney and a Graduate Diploma in Environmental Studies from the University of Tasmania.
Andrew has worked as an environmental advisor to the Australian Democrats and as a legal and policy advisor at the World Wide Fund for Nature Australia. He also has had approximately five years experience in legal practice specialising in environmental and planning law.
Andrew taught law at several colleges at Cambridge University in 2004/05 and he is currently completing a part-time doctorate on the history of the High Court of Australia during the war years.
His publications include papers on federal environment law, property rights in land and water resources, the politics of environment groups, schools and discrimination.
