Violence against kids
The spectre of dirty old men hanging around schools gets plenty of attention in discussions of child protection, yet the statistics show this represents a minority of child-abuse cases. At the same time, parents are sometimes unwilling to discipline their children for fear of being reported as abusers. Where should we draw the lines, and how can we enforce them to protect our most vulnerable?
