Dr Sue Malta is a Research Fellow in the Melbourne School of Population and Global Health at the University of Melbourne, as well as at the National Ageing Research Institute,
where she works on a range of projects about healthy and active ageing.
Her primary focus is on ageing and sexuality, in particular, contesting
the notion that older people are asexual beings. She is currently
managing the Sexual Health and Ageing, Perspectives and Education
(SHAPE) project which this article is based on.
