Anne Mitchell

Anne Mitchell is Director of the Community Liaison and Education Unit with the Australian Research Centre in Sex, Health and Society at LaTrobe University. She has a background in teaching and has been working in the field of sexuality education and sexual health for over ten years.

In her present position she has the responsibility of developing and maintaining effective links between researchers and the community, including making research outcomes accessible to community members. She is co-author of the book Youth, AIDS and Sexually Transmitted Diseases published by Routledge in 1997. Her recent projects include the development of Talking Sexual Health, a National Curriculum Framework and support materials for sexuality education in Australian High Schools.
