Patrick Dodson

Professor Patrick Dodson is a Yawuru man from Broome in Western Australia. He is Founding Director of the Indigenous Policy and Dialogue Research Unit at the University of NSW, Chairman of the Kimberley Institute, and Chairman of the Lingiari Foundation, an Indigenous non-government advocacy and research foundation. Patrick was the 2008 recipient of the prestigious Sydney Peace Prize, only one of two Australians to have been awarded the Prize.
